Witnesses reported that fans climbed onto the roofs of cars and danced in joy, causing damage. One police officer was seen carrying a woman, who had fainted due to suffocation, away from the crowded area. Rishab Mahesh Yadav, a supporter who attended the parade, recounted slipping and falling unconscious in the crowd due to the increasing throng. He criticized the management, claiming that the police were not alert and that there was a lack of organization. Another witness, Ravi Solanki, echoed similar allegations of mismanagement by the police, recounting a situation where the crowd kept increasing, leading to chaos and shouting. This resulted in people falling on each other, causing an unorganized and unmanaged situation. The celebrations also caused major traffic jams in South Mumbai, with police halting vehicular movement towards Marine Drive and leading to chaos on alternate routes.
