Patanjali Products Banned by Ramdev and Balkrishan Continue to be Sold in Stores admin, July 11, 2024 An investigation by NDTV has revealed that despite the suspension of manufacturing licenses for 14 Patanjali Ayurved products, these items are still being sold at franchise stores in various locations, including Delhi, Patna, and Dehradun. The company had stated to the Supreme Court that it had ceased the sale of these products, instructed its stores to withdraw them, and requested media platforms to remove their advertisements. However, NDTV found that many of these banned products, such as Swasari Vati and Drishti eye drops, were readily available for purchase at multiple stores in Delhi, including Green Park and Jangpura. Similar instances were also observed in Patna and Dehradun, where 11 of the 14 banned products were found to be sold. The Supreme Court has reserved its order on a contempt notice issued to Ramdev, Balkrishna, and Patanjali Ayurved Ltd in relation to a misleading advertisements case. The 14 products whose manufacturing licenses have been canceled include Mukta Vati Extra Power, Lipidom, BP Grit, Livamrit Advance, Livogrit, Eyegrit Gold, Madhugrit, Swasari Gold, Swasari Vati, Bronchom, Swasari Pravahi, Swasari Avaleh, Madhunashini Vati Extra Power, and Patanjali Drishti Eye Drop.
