Rat Bites Nine Students at Girls’ Hostel in Telangana

The students of class 9 were bitten by rats on Tuesday and Wednesday night while they were asleep in a room of the hostel, as reported by an official on Thursday. They received treatment at a primary health center in Ramayampet Mandal and were subsequently discharged. According to the official, necessary measures were being taken to address the rat menace. Meanwhile, upon learning about the incident, some parents of the students visited the institute and expressed concerns about the alleged lack of cleanliness at the hostel.
