Bus Accident on Mumbai Expressway Results in 4 Deaths and Several Injuries

Officials reported that a bus carrying devotees was involved in an accident near the Mumbai Express Highway. The collision with a tractor caused the bus to fall into a ditch, resulting in four fatalities and several injuries.

According to DCP Navi Mumbai Pankaj Dahane, all the injured individuals were taken to the nearby MGM Hospital for treatment. The bus, en route from Kesar village in Dombivli to Pandharpur in Maharashtra, was carrying devotees at the time of the accident.

The incident led to a halt in vehicular movement on the Mumbai-Lonavala lane of the Mumbai Express Highway. After three hours and with the assistance of a crane, the bus was retrieved, and normal traffic resumed on the lane.
