Mumbai Influencer Aanvi Kamdar, 26, Dies in 300-Feet Gorge Mishap During Reel Shoot

Aanvi Kamdar, a 26-year-old resident of Mumbai, tragically fell into a 300-foot gorge while filming a video at a waterfall with seven friends on July 16. Despite swift response from local authorities and additional support from the Coast Guard, Kolad rescue team, and Maharashtra State Electricity Board staff, Aanvi’s rescue proved to be a challenging task due to the difficult terrain and heavy rain.

After a six-hour operation, she was safely brought out of the gorge, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her severe injuries at the Managaon sub-district hospital. In the aftermath of this tragic incident, local authorities issued an appeal to tourists and citizens, emphasizing the importance of responsible tourism and prioritizing safety while exploring the picturesque Sahyadri ranges.

They urged people to avoid risky behaviors that could potentially endanger lives.
