Ally Jitan Ram Manjhi casts doubt on Nitish Kumar in recent swipe.

Jitan Ram Manjhi, in 2015, separated from the Janata Dal (United) along with 18 others and established his own party, Hindustani Awam Morcha, during the 2015 Bihar political crisis. In the current political landscape, HAM is a part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at both the central and Bihar levels.

The party’s leader, Jitan Ram Manjhi, is a Minister in Prime Minister Modi’s cabinet. Mr. Manjhi recently highlighted that his party is not only functioning but is also operating at a great pace.

He expressed gratitude towards Nitish Kumar for his support, recalling the skepticism raised by Mr. Kumar when they initially formed the party. He credited the people for the party’s progress and offered his congratulations to them.

In a previous instance, amidst opposition criticism aimed at Nitish Kumar regarding a series of bridge collapses in Bihar, Mr. Manjhi defended the Chief Minister. He attributed the collapses to the unusually heavy monsoon rains, asserting that the state’s leader was committed to a thorough investigation.
