Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia’s Detention Extended to July 31 admin, July 24, 2024 Special Judge Kaveri Baweja extended Mr Kejriwal’s custody in two separate cases. In the money laundering case being probed by the Enforcement Directorate, his custody was extended until July 31. In the corruption case lodged by the CBI, his custody was extended until August 8. The judge also extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia, K Kavitha, and other accused in the money laundering case until July 31. The accused were presented before the court via video conference. The Supreme Court had previously granted interim bail to Mr Kejriwal in the ED case, but he remains in Tihar jail as he has not provided the bail bond.
