Businessman and driver fatally stabbed in Ranaghat, West Bengal by unidentified individuals: Police

The incident took place in Ranaghat town of the district, according to a police officer. The bodies of Suman Chakraborty and his driver, both with multiple stab injuries, were found in an under-construction house in Anulia locality.

The businessman’s family informed the police that Chakraborty had gone to the Anulia area to meet someone at noon, and when they were unable to reach him later, they reported the matter to the police. Additionally, the family members stated that they were unaware of any business rivalries or extortion demands.
