HD Kumaraswamy Accuses Mr. Siddaramaiah of Land Allotment Charges, Says Game Is Over

Mr. Kumaraswamy addressed reporters in Delhi, stating that CM Siddaramaiah had claimed he had not misused his power by allocating a site in Mysore. Kumaraswamy pointed out that he has not yet received the allocated site despite the allegations.

He emphasized that during his tenure as Chief Minister in 2006, he did not misuse his authority, contrasting himself with CM Siddaramaiah. The Union Minister clarified that he had requested the allocation of the site in 2012 and 2017, maintaining that he never misused his power.

He also highlighted that he had paid Rs 34,000 for the site, underscoring that the situation was genuine. Additionally, Kumaraswamy criticized Urban Development Minister Bhairati Suresh, implying that exposing his corruption would be substantial.

Furthermore, Mr. Kumaraswamy suggested transferring the site to various individuals, including Minister Bhairati Suresh, thereby indicating his lack of objection. He also questioned the allocation of a site to CM Siddaramaiah’s wife in 2001, raising concerns about the purchase of agricultural land in 2005.

Furthermore, he indirectly accused Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar of releasing documents to the media, insinuating further malpractice.
