3-Year-Old Girl Dies After Falling Into 250-Feet Borewell In Madhya Pradesh: Police

A tragic incident occurred when Shoumya, the daughter of Pintu Sahu, fell into a borewell near Kasar village, about 40km from the district headquarters, while playing in an agriculture field. The borewell was reported to be more than 250-foot deep, and the girl became stuck at a depth of 25 feet. The Bargawan police station inspector, Shivpujan Mishra, provided details of the incident, stating that rescuers worked for five and a half hours to pull her out.

After being brought out, Shoumya was taken to a hospital in critical condition, as confirmed by District Chief Medical and Health Officer NK Jain.
