85-Year-Old Woman Allegedly Raped and Dies in UP, According to Police

The police have arrested a 35-year-old man, Rakesh, who is accused of raping and killing a woman in the neighborhood. The victim was living alone after the deaths of her husband and son, with her daughter-in-law residing with her brother and sister-in-law nearby.

According to the daughter-in-law, she found Rakesh raping her mother-in-law when she visited the victim’s house around 1 pm. When she raised an alarm, Rakesh escaped, and the family immediately notified the police.

Tragically, the elderly woman passed away after the attack. Senior Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya stated that the police have apprehended Rakesh and are currently interrogating him.
