Live Updates from Monsoon Session of Parliament: Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to Address NEET, Unemployment, and Airfares Today admin, August 1, 2024 The ongoing budget session of Parliament is set to conclude on August 12. The agenda released includes various activities and discussions for the session. Union Ministers are scheduled to lay papers on the tables in Lok Sabha, and discussions will be held on the working of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. Furthermore, there will be a discussion and voting on the demand for grants for the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. Other activities listed for the session include the motion for the election of one member to the Governing Council of North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, as well as a motion for elections to the rubber board. Additionally, the Union Finance Minister will move a statutory resolution. In the Rajya Sabha, Union Ministers will lay papers on the table, and discussions will take place on various issues such as the status of implementation of recommendations in the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee’s 67th Report and the election of two members to the central advisory committee for the National Cadet Corps. The private members business will feature resolutions on topics such as regulating airfare in the country and measures for the regulation of private financial companies. Additionally, the Ministry of Law and Justice will make a statement regarding Government Business during the remaining part of the 2nd session of the 18th Lok Sabha.
