Bangladesh Unrest: Air India, Vistara, and IndiGo Will Operate Scheduled Flights to Dhaka Today

Air India operated its evening flight to Dhaka on Tuesday, but had canceled the morning flight to the city. Vistara and IndiGo are also set to operate their scheduled flights to Dhaka on Wednesday despite the volatile situation amid protests in the city.

In the midst of dramatic developments in Bangladesh, sources revealed that Air India will operate its scheduled two daily flights from Delhi to Dhaka on Wednesday. The airline is also likely to operate a special flight to repatriate people from Dhaka.

Vistara and IndiGo are also expected to operate their scheduled services to the Bangladesh capital from Wednesday, with Vistara offering daily flights from Mumbai and three weekly services from Delhi to Dhaka. Both Vistara and IndiGo had canceled their Tuesday flights to Dhaka.

Under normal circumstances, IndiGo operates daily flights from Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai to Dhaka, with two daily services to the Bangladesh capital from Kolkata. In response to the situation, Air India announced a one-time waiver on rescheduling for passengers with confirmed bookings on any of its flights to and from Dhaka between August 4 and 7.
