YouTuber arrested for making disrespectful comments about actor Mohanlal

Thiruvalla Police arrested Aju Alex, the creator of the ‘Chekuthan’ YouTube channel, based on a complaint filed by actor Siddique, who is also the General Secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA). The complaint accused Aju Alex of using derogatory remarks against Mohanlal, who was in Wayanad in his capacity as an honorary lieutenant colonel of the Territorial Army. Siddique stated that the YouTuber has been consistently using abusive language against actors in the Malayalam media industry.

Siddique emphasized the importance of upholding the law and not tolerating the regular abuse of industry members. He stressed that action needed to be taken in such cases rather than simply observing the situation passively.
