56-Year-Old Woman Allegedly Assaulted After Accusing Navi Mumbai Doctor of Son’s Death

The woman, a resident of CBD Belapur, raised concerns about the treatment her son received from a doctor. According to the FIR, the son passed away on May 30, but the cause of death was not specified.

The woman accused the doctor of providing inadequate treatment, which she believed contributed to her son’s death. When she questioned the doctor about the treatment, he allegedly abused and molested her.

As a result of the woman’s complaint, the police registered a case against the doctor under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 74, 79, 351(3), and 352, which relate to assault, derogatory actions, criminal intimidation, and intentional insult. The incident was reported to have occurred in CBD Belapur, and the police confirmed that the complaint had been filed.
