In a fit of rage, Jaya attempted to attack him with bathroom cleaning acid, but he managed to dodge it. Instead, the acid accidentally landed on Syed’s aunt. Fortunately, as it was bathroom cleaning acid, Syed’s aunt did not sustain any serious injuries. In response, the bridegroom retaliated with a ceremonial knife typically used as an adornment during weddings, resulting in minor injuries to Jaya, whose last name is undisclosed. The police have taken legal action against both parties under the relevant sections and have arrested them.
