The rape and bestiality were recorded by the neighbor’s child, who is about the same age as the girl. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken note of the heinous crime, leading to the immediate suspension of the official. The state government has also announced an assistance of Rs 8.25 lakh to the girl’s family. Gajendra Singh, a resident of Rasoolpur village, holds the position of Agriculture Development Officer in the Shikarpur block. Police officials have arrested Singh and he has been suspended from his position. A departmental inquiry is being conducted given his government official status. The police have pledged to seek a speedy trial and ensure that Singh is appropriately punished.
