8 Family Members Hospitalized After Eating Wild Mushrooms in Jharkhand: Police

The incident took place at Ambedkar Mohalla of Barkagaon block on August 12. According to B Ram, the Block Development Officer of Barkagaon, all eight family members involved were referred to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH). Dr Virendra Kumar, the Superintendent of SBMCH, stated that one of the patients turned critical and was transferred to a hospital in Ranchi.

However, those admitted at SBMCH have since recovered and are no longer in danger. An investigation is currently underway, as per officials. It should be noted that this story has not been edited by NDTV staff and is published from a syndicated feed.
