Dhaba Manager in Gurugram Eatery Shot for Objecting to Smoking: Police

A group of youths had an altercation with the manager of Shri Ram Dhaba near CD chowk on Sohna road late Tuesday night. The incident occurred when the group of youths, who were at the dhaba for dinner, started smoking inside. Upon being asked to stop smoking, the men engaged in an argument with the manager.

One of them then fired a gunshot, which hit a wall, according to the complaint filed by the manager. Following the incident, an FIR was registered at Badshahpur Police Station and police arrested six men within a few hours. The arrested individuals were identified as Gaurav, a resident of Basai, Ankit of Wazirpur, Mohit of Khandsa, Mayank alias Monu of Shakti Park, Nitin, and Rohit, both residents of Om Nagar colony in Gurugram.
