Accused Minor Completes 15-Day Safe Driving Programme After Pune Porsche Crash

The minor has already submitted a 300-word essay, officials said. Two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh were killed in the incident, which took place in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar and triggered massive outrage nationwide.

Part of the outrage stemmed from the accused being granted bail from the Juvenile Justice Board under lenient terms. Additionally, a police probe found that the accused’s family and some doctors attempted to cover up the crime.

Among the conditions placed on the accused when he was released on bail by the JJB, were writing a 300-word essay on road accidents and seeking help from the RTO to study traffic rules and regulations. A top RTO official mentioned that the juvenile completed the safe driving program with the RTO, and the operation was kept discreet to protect the juvenile’s privacy as per court guidelines.

The official also stated that the juvenile underwent on-field training during the process. The fact that the accused had completed the necessary requirements, including submitting the 300-word essay, was confirmed by other officials.
