Minor Accused in Pune Porsche Crash Completes 15-Day Safe Driving Programme

The incident, which occurred in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar, resulted in the tragic deaths of two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh. This event sparked significant outrage across the nation. The outrage was fueled partly by the accused being granted bail from the Juvenile Justice Board under lenient terms. Furthermore, a police investigation revealed attempts by the accused’s family and certain doctors to conceal the crime.

As a condition of his bail, the accused was required to write a 300-word essay on road accidents and seek assistance from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) to study traffic rules and regulations. According to a senior RTO official, the accused completed the safe driving program with the RTO while adhering to the court’s guidelines for maintaining the juvenile’s privacy. Additionally, the accused received on-field training during this process. Officials have confirmed that the minor has already submitted the 300-word essay, in compliance with the conditions set forth by the court.
