15-year-old Udaipur student dies in hospital after being stabbed outside school.

The police have reported that the body of the deceased will be given to his family after the postmortem. Udaipur Collector Arvind Poswal revealed that before the boy passed away, his sister had tied a rakhi on his wrist in the hospital on Raksha Bandhan. In response to the communal violence that occurred on Friday, elaborate security measures have been put in place in the city, with mobile internet services being suspended. Inspector General of Police (Udaipur) Ajaypal Lamba stated that the boy passed away during treatment on Monday and the body has been moved to the mortuary for postmortem.

He added that the body will be handed over to the family after the postmortem. Officials have noted heavy police presence outside the district hospital and additional forces in various parts of the city to maintain law and order. The boy, named Devraj, was assaulted by a fellow student outside their school on Friday over some issue. Following the incident, the local police detained the accused and arrested his father.

As tensions continued to rise, all government and private schools were closed until further notice and mobile internet services were suspended.
