IIT Aspirant Kushagra Rastogi’s Mysterious Death in Kota Bathroom

The exact cause of a student’s death in Kota remains unknown. Rastogi was discovered unconscious in a bathroom and was taken to the hospital, where he ultimately passed away.

According to Jawahar Nagar police station SHO Hari Narayan Sharma, the student had arrived in Kota in April to pursue his coaching and was residing in a hostel in the Old Rajeev Gandhi Nagar area. His mother had recently arrived in Kota and was staying with him.

On Monday morning, Rastogi went to the washroom to shower. After he didn’t return for 10-15 minutes, his mother called him.

Upon finding no response, she checked on him and found him unconscious in the bathroom. She swiftly took him to the hospital with the assistance of the hostel staff.

The body has been moved to a mortuary, and the postmortem will be conducted after his father arrives in Kota on Tuesday. SHO Sharma stated that the student’s mother has not been informed about her son’s death, as she is alone in the city without any other family members present.

Despite the efforts of doctors, the exact cause of the student’s death remains unknown. The SHO mentioned that they are awaiting further clarity after the post-mortem on Tuesday.
