UK YouTuber Sparks Outrage with Racist Jokes About Dropping Nukes on India

A British YouTuber recently caused outrage with a series of social media posts in which he made jokes about launching nuclear bombs to “atomise” nations, including India, over minor infractions. The YouTuber, Miles Routledge, stated that he would attack India “just for the sake of it” if he were the prime minister of the UK, prompting widespread condemnation. Routledge’s comments were labeled as rage-baiting, and he further aggravated the situation by sharing racist memes and AI-generated images. He also provided a racially charged explanation for his dislike of India after allegedly receiving a threatening message from an anonymous user.

The 25-year-old British student gained attention in 2021 when he found himself stranded in Afghanistan during the Taliban takeover. Despite warnings from the British government, he had traveled to Afghanistan to witness life under the Taliban’s offensive, and he documented his experiences on various platforms. After finding himself stranded in the country, he was eventually evacuated by the British Army in the guise of a woman in a burka. Routledge has continued to travel to dangerous locations, such as Kazakhstan, Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Ukraine, and Brazil, facing various challenges including false imprisonment and illegal border crossings.
