Senior Police Officer’s Daughter Anika Rastogi, 19, Found Deceased at Lucknow’s Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University

Anika Rastogi, a student at Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, was found unconscious in her room and pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Anika, a third-year LLB student, was the daughter of Sanjay Rastogi, an IPS officer serving as Inspector General at the National Investigation Agency in Delhi. The exact cause of Anika’s death is not yet known, but it is suspected to be a cardiac attack. The police are awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

An investigation is underway, and the police have not found any visible injuries or signs of suspicion in Anika’s room. At this stage, the victim’s family has not filed a police complaint, and further action will be taken based on the post-mortem report.
