Mother of Faridabad Student’s Killer: “He Was Chasing Car

Aryan Mishra, a Class 12 student, was killed on August 23. The Faridabad Police has stated that they have no evidence to prove that the attackers were ‘cow vigilantes’, but NDTV spoke to the mother of the main accused who contradicted their claims. She admitted that her son is a “cow protector” and confirmed that he was chasing the car in which the student was killed.

She maintained her son’s innocence and emphasized his involvement in “cow protection” as evidence of his good behavior. NDTV went to the office of the main accused and found that he is well-known as a cow vigilante. YouTube videos posted by his organization ‘Live for Nation’ depicted members engaging in activities related to cow protection, including chasing people in cars.

The incident involving Mishra and his friends began when they thought they were being pursued by goons, and ended with Aryan being shot twice. Anil Kaushik, the main accused in the case, and four others were later arrested by the Faridabad Police. NDTV visited Kaushik’s house and spoke to his mother, who provided details about his involvement in “cow protection” and the chase on August 23.

The compound of Kaushik’s home also held vehicles associated with cow protection, including one with ‘Gau Raksha Dal’ written on it. The office of ‘Live for Nation’ is located in Parvatiya Colony in Faridabad. People in the area confirmed Kaushik’s involvement in cow protection and pointed to a vehicle near the office used in such activities.
