According to the official, the man’s friends indicated that he may have been depressed due to his failure to clear the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam, which might have led to his decision to take his own life. The man jumped from his eighth-floor apartment in a housing complex and landed on the ground. He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The police also found a suicide note in his residence, in which he stated his difficulty in surviving and apologized to his parents, brothers, and others for not living up to their expectations. The body was then sent to a government hospital for postmortem examination.
