Congress Announces Five Candidates for Haryana Elections in 4th List admin, September 11, 2024 The Congress party has declared the names of 85 candidates for the upcoming Haryana elections. In the latest announcement, former Haryana Youth Congress chief Sachin Kundu was named as the party’s candidate for the Panipat Rural seat, while state youth wing’s spokesperson Rohit Nagar was selected for Tigaon. Additionally, the party named candidates for other seats including Ambala Cantt, Narwana-SC reserved seat, and Rania. This was the party’s fourth list for Haryana, with 85 candidates declared for the 90-member Assembly so far. In the third list released earlier, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala’s son Aditya was named as the candidate for the Kaithal seat. Other candidates in the third list include those for Panchkula, Ambala City, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar, Pehowa, Kalayat, Pundri, Indri, Karnal, Gharaunda, Panipat City, Rai, Jind, Fatehabad, Ratia, Sirsa, Ellenabad, Adampur, Hansi, Barwala, and Hisar. The party also declared candidates for Nalwa, Loharu, Badhra, Dadri, Ateli, Narnaul, Kosli, Hathin, Palwal, Prithla, Badhkal, Ballabgarh, and Faridabad. For seats reserved for Scheduled Castes, the candidates named in the third list include those for Bawani Khera, Bawal-SC, Pataudi-SC, Mulana-SC, and Guhla-SC.
