External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced that India has dispatched 10 tonnes of aid, including dry ration, clothing, and medicines, to Myanmar via the Indian naval ship INS Satpura. Additionally, a military transport aircraft from the Indian Air Force is transporting 35 tonnes of aid to Vietnam and 10 tonnes of relief materials to Laos. Jaishankar emphasized India’s solidarity with the affected people and the dispatch of aid to all three countries. Highlighting the specifics of the aid, Jaishankar stated that the aid sent to Myanmar included dry ration, clothing, and medicines onboard the INS Satpura. Additionally, he mentioned that the aid for Vietnam consists of water purification items, water containers, blankets, kitchen utensils, and solar lanterns, all weighing 35 tonnes and carried by the Indian Air Force.
