When the woman confronted him, he verbally abused her, pushed her down, and hit her on the head with his motorcycle helmet. A crowd gathered and started beating up Sheikh, who claimed to be in the police force and tried to flee. Local police intervened, saved Sheikh from the mob, and took him to a nearby hospital, where his damaged two-wheeler was also found.
