Rohan Gupta made a statement criticizing a party leader responsible for communication and expressing his disappointment. He mentioned the leader’s failure to contact him when his father was unwell and in the hospital and also cited issues with the messages coming from the party. Gupta emphasized the importance of self-respect and the need for leaders to listen to feedback from the ground.

He explained his decision to leave the Congress and join the BJP, citing the BJP’s alignment with the centrist policies and nationalism that he believes the Congress once represented. Gupta expressed his disapproval of the Congress’s shift towards leftist ideas and its refusal to attend the Ayodhya Ram temple inauguration. Gupta also commented on Rahul Gandhi’s temple visits, suggesting that he listens to his advisors and advocating for the selection of the right advisors.

Responding to questions about his previous tweets criticizing the BJP, Gupta stated that he is not ashamed of his past and is trying to gracefully transition to a new direction.
