Key Witness Alleges OJ Simpson Paid Gambino Gangsters to Murder His Ex-Wife: Report

Once a beloved national figure, O.J. Simpson’s fame turned to infamy following the brutal murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994.

Despite compelling evidence against him, Simpson was acquitted of the double murder. However, a key police witness, Mr. Dunton, recently came forward with a shocking story after 30 years of silence.

According to Dunton, he withheld the information out of fear of reprisal from the Mafia, and claimed that Simpson wanted to witness the murders. In a conversation with Hollywood private detective Paul Barresi, Dunton confessed that members of the Gambino family were involved and asserted that everything was done at Simpson’s direction.

He alleged that Simpson knew about the planned murders and desired to be present, though he did not specify Simpson’s actions during the events. Dunton’s testimony also revealed that he had informed the police about his knowledge at the time of the murders, under the condition of remaining anonymous.

However, he was eventually compelled to testify in court and faced threats from a Gambino operative, leading to a jail term for contempt of court. Despite the ordeal, Dunton refrained from revealing the name of the gangster who threatened him, citing the gangster’s continued existence.

This individual ultimately received a 33-year jail sentence in 2008 on unrelated charges of armed robbery, before being released in 2017. The account of these events formed the basis for the acclaimed television series “The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” which received numerous Emmy awards.
