Kanhaiya Kumar from Congress vs Manoj Tiwari from BJP in North East Delhi Election

The party has disclosed its list of candidates for various Lok Sabha seats. In Chandni Chowk, veteran politician JP Agarwal has been nominated, while youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar will contest from the North East Delhi seat. Mr. Kumar will face BJP’s Manoj Tiwari, the only BJP candidate in the national capital who has not been replaced.

Former MP Udit Raj has been named as the candidate for the North West Delhi Lok Sabha seat. In Punjab, the party has renominated its sitting MPs Gurjeet Singh Aujla from Amritsar and Amar Singh from the Fatehgarh Sahib (SC) Lok Sabha seat. Former MP Dharvir Gandhi, who recently switched from the Aam Aadmi Party to the Congress, will be contesting from the Patiala Lok Sabha seat.

The party has also nominated Sukhpal Singh Khaira from the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat and Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu from the Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency, presently represented by SAD chief’s wife Harsimrat Kaur Badal. In addition, the Congress announced Ujjwal Revti Raman Singh as its candidate for the Allahabad Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, the opposition party revealed a list of 75 candidates for the Odisha assembly elections.
