Kanhaiya Kumar of Congress vs Manoj Tiwari of BJP in North East Delhi Contest

The party list for the upcoming elections includes prominent names. In Chandni Chowk, veteran politician JP Agarwal is running, while youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar has been fielded in North East Delhi.

Notably, Kumar will face off against Manoj Tiwari from the BJP, who is the sole candidate in the national capital to retain his spot. In the North West Delhi Lok Sabha seat, the party has named former MP Udit Raj as its candidate.

Moving to Punjab, the party has chosen to renominate sitting MPs Gurjeet Singh Aujla from Amritsar and Amar Singh from the Fatehgarh Sahib (SC) Lok Sabha seat. Additionally, former MP Dharvir Gandhi, who recently joined the Congress after leaving the Aam Aadmi Party, has been nominated for the Patiala Lok Sabha seat.

The All India Kisan wing chief Sukhpal Singh Khaira and Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu are vying for the Sangrur and Bathinda Lok Sabha seats, respectively, in a bid to secure representation in these constituencies. The Congress has also announced Ujjwal Revti Raman Singh as the candidate for the Allahabad Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh.

In addition to the Lok Sabha candidates, the party has revealed a list of 75 candidates for the Odisha assembly elections, demonstrating a concerted effort to contest various constituencies.
