It was discovered that they had purchased a second-hand bike from Raigad district to reach Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai. Prior to the incident, they had rented a house in Panvel for a month, and police sources have linked them to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Notably, Lawrence Bishnoi is currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail for his involvement in various high-profile murder cases. Following the shooting incident, Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, claimed responsibility through an online post, issuing a warning to the actor. The motorbike used in the incident, abandoned near Mount Mary Church, was registered in the name of a man from the Panvel area in Navi Mumbai, who had recently sold it. In response to the situation, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has extended support to the actor and pledged to uphold the rule of law.
