Srikkanth highlighted the struggles of some RCB bowlers and suggested unconventional options for the team’s bowling strategy. He also expressed sympathy for Kohli and applauded Abdul Samad’s knock.

RCB entered the match without a specialist spinner and with an inexperienced bowling lineup. They relied on off-spin and pace bowlers, who collectively conceded a significant number of runs. Both teams displayed aggressive batting performances, with Sunrisers setting a new IPL record for hitting 22 sixes, while RCB struck 16 of their own.

Sunrisers also impressed by hitting 41 boundaries, with Chris Gayle contributing significantly to this feat.
