Tragic Accident in Gujarat: 10 Fatalities as Car Collides with Truck on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway

The tragic incident occurred on a highway in India, in the region of the Kheda district. The victims were traveling in a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga from Vadodara to Ahmedabad.

Reportedly, the car collided with a parked Maharashtra-registered truck that had experienced a mechanical issue and was stationary in the left lane. This resulted in the death of all ten occupants, with eight dying at the scene and two succumbing to their injuries during transportation to the hospital.

According to the Superintendent of Police Rajesh Gadhiya, the occupants of the car, including the driver and a five-year-old child, all lost their lives in the crash near Nadiad. The truck, which was en route from Pune to Jammu, belonged to Maharashtra.

It was revealed that the deceased car passengers hailed from various cities in Gujarat such as Vadodara, Nadiad, and Ahmedabad, with only four victims identified at the time of reporting.
