An Indian national traveling from Mumbai to Bangkok was found smuggling diamonds concealed in packets of noodles inside his trolley bag and was subsequently arrested. In addition to this, 10 Indian nationals were intercepted with 6.199 kg gold valued at Rs 4.04 crore. The gold was found concealed in the rectum, on their bodies, and inside their baggage, without further details provided in the release. Two individuals each traveling from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and one each from Bahrain, Doha, Riyadh, Muscat, Bangkok, and Singapore were among those intercepted.
