Amit Shah Criticizes Uddhav Thackeray as “Fake Sena Chief” for Ayodhya Event

Mr Shah accused opposition leaders, including Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, of “humiliating” Lord Ram during a public rally in Maharashtra’s Amaravati. He criticized Uddhav Thackeray, the president of Shiv Sena, and accused him of not attending the event out of fear of Sonia Gandhi.

Shah also expressed disappointment that Rahul Gandhi did not attend the event, stating that their absence was a humiliation to Lord Ram. Shah doubled down on his criticism of Uddhav Thackeray, suggesting that the former Maharashtra Chief Minister had abandoned the principles of Shiv Sena’s patriarch, Bal Thackeray.

He mentioned a murder case involving Umesh Kolhe and alleged that Uddhav Thackeray had failed to take action. Shah asserted that the current government in Maharashtra, led by Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis, would ensure the safety of its citizens.

The BJP leader emphasized the importance of voting in the upcoming elections, framing it as a choice between those who support Ram Rajya and those who advocate for the rule of a family. He urged the audience to support BJP’s candidate, Navneet Rana, in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Amravati.

Rana, who had previously won the Amravati seat as an Independent candidate with the support of NCP, is now backed by the BJP. Shah highlighted the significance of the upcoming voting date and the composition of the Amravati Lok Sabha constituency, which comprises six assembly seats.
