Kompella Madhavi Latha Declares Assets Worth Rs 221 Crore as BJP’s Hyderabad Candidate

Madhavi Latha, along with her husband Kompella Viswanath, disclosed the family’s assets in an affidavit submitted to the Election Commission. The couple, both entrepreneurs, and their three dependent children have movable assets worth Rs 165.46 crore and immovable assets totaling Rs.55.91 crore.

Madhavi Latha, a 49-year-old resident of Secunderabad, recently joined the BJP and submitted the affidavit while filing her nomination, marking her electoral debut. She declared movable assets of Rs 31.31 crore, including investments of Rs.25.20 crore in listed and unlisted companies, and ownership of gold jewellery worth Rs 3.78 crore.

Her husband’s movable assets amount to Rs 88.31 crore, including shares worth Rs 52.36 crore in Virinchi Ltd, while their three dependent children collectively own movable assets of over Rs 45 crore. Additionally, Madhavi Latha possesses immovable assets totaling Rs 6.32 crore, while her husband’s immovable assets are valued at Rs 49.59 crore.

These assets include non-agricultural land and commercial and residential buildings in and around Hyderabad. Madhavi Latha has liabilities of Rs 90 lakh, and her husband’s liabilities stand at Rs 26.13 crore.
