Ishan Kishan May Make a T20 Comeback in a Different Tournament, Not Ranji Trophy or IPL: Report

Kishan, citing ‘personal reasons’, opted out of the two-match Test series against the Proteas and has been absent from the national side since. His absence raised concerns for his career, especially with the T20 World Cup approaching.

However, a recent report indicates that he is preparing to participate in a T20 tournament before joining the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Despite this, the Jharkhand Cricket Association clarified that Kishan did not approach them about playing in the Ranji Trophy.

The board emphasized the importance of having all fit players, who are not part of the senior national team, participate in the Ranji Trophy for their respective teams.
