Raghav Chadha Visits UK for Surgery, Could Have Lost Eyesight: Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj

Mr. Bharadwaj expressed concern over Raghav Chadha’s surgery, stating that it was a serious matter. Chadha had travelled to the UK to seek treatment for an eye complication, and Bharadwaj emphasized that the situation was grave and could have led to blindness without timely intervention. Despite being away for treatment, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP has been actively engaging on social media, discussing developments within the party.

This includes addressing issues such as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest and Sunita Kejriwal’s involvement in active politics, as evidenced by her roadshow in support of AAP candidates in Delhi. Chadha also responded to the party’s allegations that the Tihar jail authorities were denying Arvind Kejriwal access to insulin and other diabetes medication. Highlighting Kejriwal’s medical needs, Chadha expressed concern over the reported lack of insulin provision, deeming it inhumane and a violation of prison rules.

Arvind Kejriwal had been arrested in the Delhi Liquor Policy case in March, and subsequently, in a money laundering case by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21. His former Deputy, Manish Sisodia, was also detained in the same case. Mr. and Mrs. Kejriwal have been sharing updates on their respective social media accounts, potentially to address these unfolding developments.
