Yogi Adityanath’s Big Claim in 2 Months if BJP Wins: Arvind Kejriwal’s Assertion

Mr. Kejriwal recently made some bold claims regarding the political future of several prominent figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He accused PM Modi of initiating a “one nation, one leader” mission and suggested that Yogi Adityanath’s political career is in jeopardy, stating that if PM Modi wins, he will replace the UP CM within two months. Additionally, Mr. Kejriwal expressed concerns about the state of democracy, alleging that a dictatorial regime is attempting to take over the country.

He specifically called out PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, attributing them as architects behind the BJP’s strategy of changing chief ministers in various states prior to assembly elections to limit their influence. In a bold warning, Mr. Kejriwal suggested that if the BJP-led NDA comes to power after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, opposition leaders, including Chief Ministers such as Mamata Banerjee and MK Stalin, could face imprisonment. He cited previous instances where opposition leaders were allegedly targeted and expressed fears of a similar fate for others if the BJP were to win again.

A recent legal proceeding brought Mr. Kejriwal to the spotlight as the court directed the Enforcement Directorate to investigate him after the elections. Despite this, his release has been met with support from the opposition INDIA alliance, of which the Aam Aadmi Party is a significant member.
