BJP’s Sushil Kumar Modi: A Model Organization Man in 5 Points

Mr. Modi, a prominent figure, demonstrated his formidable skills during the electoral seasons. For approximately 11 years, he served as the deputy to Janata Dal (United) chief and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. His adeptness was evident as he secured victory in the Bihar assembly elections three times between 1990 and 2004.

Additionally, from 1996 to 2004, he held the esteemed position of Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar assembly. In 2003, Mr. Modi was appointed as the national vice president of BJP, a position he held until 2005. With a BSc (Hons) in Botany from Patna University, his educational background was quite substantial.

Following his passing, he is survived by his wife Jessie George, a college professor, and their two sons – Utkarsh Tathagat and Akshay Amritanshu.
