Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Plundering the Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, citing that the Congress had questioned the legitimacy of the Pran Prathishtha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, and warned that they would lock it up if they came into power. He also denounced what he perceived as dynastic politics within the Congress, highlighting Lalu ji, Mamata, and Sonia Gandhi’s intentions to pass political power to their family members. Shah emphasized the role of the people in deciding political representation rather than it being reserved for specific families. Shah then took aim at the Congress over their stance on Article 370, claimed that the Congress had failed to address it, and praised Modi for its annulment, asserting that it had led to a reduction in terrorism and asserting ownership over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Shah further accused the Congress of corruption and stated that the Modi government would prosecute the corrupt. He commended the double engine government in Uttar Pradesh for progress seen under Modi’s leadership, including infrastructure development and public safety improvements attributed to Yogi Ji. Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi and Raebareli constituencies, considered strongholds of the Gandhi family, have gained attention with Rahul Gandhi entering the race in Rae Bareli and a close family aide contesting against Smriti Irani in Amethi.
