Amit Shah Takes Aim at Congress for Plundering the Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, emphasizing the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, which was a long-awaited event. He mentioned the Congress’ skepticism regarding the proper performance of the Pran Prathistha and their potential action to place a lock on the Babri Masjid if they come into power. Shah accused the Congress of practicing dynastic politics, citing instances of various leaders favoring their family members for prominent positions. He emphasized the importance of letting the people decide and rebuffed the concept of reserved seats for a particular family.

The abrogation of Article 370 and its security implications was a key point of contention, with Shah crediting Modi for the move and declaring that terrorism has been curtailed, asserting India’s claim over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Shah labeled the Congress as corrupt and vowed to put corrupt individuals in jail, and lauded the developments in Uttar Pradesh under the “double engine government” of Modi and Yogi Ji, citing infrastructure and law enforcement improvements. The focus on Amethi and Raebareli, historically prominent constituencies for the Gandhi family, was highlighted as Rahul Gandhi entered the fray in Rae Bareli, and Kishori Lal Sharma was fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi. The decline in the Congress’ performance in Uttar Pradesh in the past few elections was also noted.
