Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress for Plundering the Country for Many Years

Amit Shah recently criticized the INDIA alliance, stating that despite a long wait, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has finally been obtained. He accused the Congress of claiming that the Pran Prathishtha has not been done correctly, and warned that if they come into power, they will put a Babri lock on it. He also denounced what he described as dynastic politics within the Congress, citing examples such as Lalu Yadav and Mamata Banerjee’s preferences for their relatives to hold positions of power.

Furthermore, he emphasized that the people should have the final say in such matters, as there is no reserved seat for a particular family. Shah lambasted the Congress for its stance on Article 370, asserting that while the party did not take action against it, Prime Minister Modi successfully abrogated it, effectively curbing terrorism in the country. He also claimed that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir belongs to India, and declared that the country is not afraid.

Accusing the Congress of corruption, Shah promised that the Modi government will hold all corrupt individuals accountable and bring them to justice. He also praised the progress in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Modi and Yogi Adityanath, highlighting developments such as expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park. Furthermore, Shah pointed out the significance of Amethi and Raebareli, traditionally considered strongholds of the Gandhi family, in the upcoming elections.

He noted that Rahul Gandhi is contesting in Raebareli, while a close aide of the family is being fielded against Smriti Irani in Amethi. It is also highlighted that Congress had won only two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014 – Raebareli and Amethi – with the latter being lost in the 2019 elections.
