Amit Shah Takes a Dig at Congress for Plundering the Country for Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance in a speech, emphasizing the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after a long wait. He accused the Congress of suggesting that the Pran Prathishtha was not performed correctly and warned that they would place a Babri lock on it if they came into power. Shah also condemned what he labeled dynastic politics, citing examples such as Lalu Yadav and Sonia Gandhi’s desire to secure positions for their family members. He emphasized that the decision should be made by the people, not by influential families.

Shah further criticized the Congress regarding its handling of Article 370, praising Prime Minister Modi for its revocation. He claimed that this action had effectively halted terrorism and expressed a bold assertion regarding the ownership of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, stating “We are not scared.” Additionally, he accused the Congress of corruption and pledged that the Modi government would hold the corrupt accountable by putting them in jail. The speech also celebrated the development of Uttar Pradesh under the “double engine” government, commending the establishment of infrastructure such as expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park.

Shah praised Yogi Adityanath for clearing out criminal activity in the state. Notably, the constituencies of Amethi and Raebareli, traditionally linked to the Gandhi family, have once again garnered attention due to Rahul Gandhi’s entry in Raebareli and a close family aide being fielded in Amethi. The Congress, which previously won only two seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2014, experienced a further decrease to one seat in 2019 following the loss of Amethi.
