Amit Shah Criticizes Congress for Plundering the Country for Many Years

Amit Shah, criticizing the INDIA alliance, expressed satisfaction over the culmination of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after a prolonged wait. He dismissed Congress’s objections to the Pran Prathishtha ceremony and warned that if they were to come to power, they would reseal it. He also accused Congress of engaging in dynastic politics, citing Lalu Yadav’s desire for his son to become CM and Mamata Banerjee for her nephew, as well as Sonia Gandhi’s favoring of Rahul Gandhi for Prime Minister. Shah emphasized that these seats belonged to the people, not the political families.

Shah also lambasted the Congress for its handling of Article 370, asserting that it was Modi who took the bold step of revoking it, which consequently reduced terrorism and secured Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He accused Congress of widespread corruption, promising that the Modi government would hold the corrupt accountable by imprisoning them. He lauded the governance in Uttar Pradesh, calling it a “double engine government” under Modi and Yogi Ji. He highlighted the state’s development, including the establishment of 14 expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park, and commended Yogi Ji’s effort to eliminate criminal elements from the state.

Given the upcoming elections, the emphasis has returned to Amethi and Raebareli, traditional strongholds of the Gandhi family. Congress recently deployed Rahul Gandhi in Raebareli, while Kishori Lal Sharma, a close aide to the Gandhi family, has been fielded in Amethi against Smriti Irani. In 2014, Congress won only two seats in Uttar Pradesh, which came down to one in 2019 after their loss in Amethi.
