Amit Shah Takes Swipe at Congress: “Country Looted for So Many Years

Amit Shah criticized the INDIA alliance, emphasizing the significance of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and asserting that the Congress would hinder its development if in power. He condemned what he termed as “dynastic politics,” citing examples such as Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Sonia Gandhi asserting their family members’ entitlement to political seats. Shah also reproached the Congress over its handling of Article 370, lauding the efforts of the Modi government in abolishing it and addressing terrorism.

He accused the Congress of corruption, pledging that the Modi government will prosecute those responsible. Regarding Uttar Pradesh, Shah commended the state’s progress under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath and Narendra Modi, citing developments such as expressways, a metro network, medical colleges, a film city, and a toy park in the state. In relation to the upcoming elections in Amethi and Rae Bareli, traditional strongholds of the Gandhi family, Shah highlighted the heightened focus on these constituencies, citing Rahul Gandhi’s candidacy in Rae Bareli and the Congress’s declining electoral performance in the region in recent years.
